Auto-Graphics, Inc Expands California Presence With VERSO® ILS
Auto-Graphics, Inc. goes live with Southern California's Rancho Mirage Public Library
ONTARIO, Calif. — June 26, 2015 — Auto-Graphics, Inc., a leading provider of tools, technologies, and software developed to power libraries, and Rancho Mirage Public Library, proudly announce the selection and successful migration and "go live" of Auto-Graphics' VERSO®, as the new Integrated Library System.
After a competitive and thorough RFP process, Rancho Mirage Public Library, RMPL, selected Auto-Graphics as the vendor of choice with their latest iteration of ILS software. VERSO is a leading edge ILS software designed to help libraries manage their resources while enhancing information discovery and improving staff workflow and service delivery. VERSO is intended for library systems ranging in size from a single branch library, such as RMPL, up to diverse and complex multi-branch locations.
David Bryant, Rancho Mirage Library Director is very happy with the Library's selection. "Everything we do in our Library is patron-centered. With a mission devoted to lifelong learning and meeting the intellectual needs of all ages, having an ILS that acts as an easy conduit to the Library collection, while making everything we offer as books, e-books, and media look enticing and ready for readers and researchers is essential. We know that Auto-Graphics Verso does just that."
VERSO, delivered via the Cloud in a hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model, assists in cost control helping address budget or staffing constraints. All system upgrades are provided at no additional cost. Auto-Graphics was the first ILS vendor to utilize the SaaS deployment and installation with a WEB based staff module. With the web-based application, all upgrades and fixes or enhancements are immediately available to all users. There is no client software to load and maintain, freeing up valuable IT or technical staff to support additional projects for the library.
Albert Flores, V.P. of Sales at Auto-Graphics is thrilled with La Porte's decision and selection of VERSO. "We are pleased to add Rancho Mirage to our growing list of California accounts. Auto-Graphics, with our roots in California public library automation, sees tremendous potential for California public libraries seeking an independent in-state vendor focused on core needs of the patron community."
