The Interlibrary Loan Implementors Group (IPIG) was established
in 1995 to facilitate user of the international ILL Protocol (ISO

MARBI Committee
The Machine-Readable Bibliographic Information Committee (MARBI)
is the body within the American Library Association responsible
for developing official ALA positions on standards for the representation
in machine-readable form of bibliographic information. MARBI focuses

NCIP Committee
The NISO Circulation Interchange Protocol (NCIP) Committee defines
the various transactions needed to support circulation activities
among independent library systems. Circulation activities include
patron and item inquiry and update transactions, such as hold or
reserve, check-out, renew, and check-in. The NCIP protocol facilitates
direct patron borrowing, remote patron authentication, on-line payment,
and controlled access to electronic documents. Founded in 1939,
the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) is a non-profit
association accredited by the American National Standards Institute
that identifies, develops, maintains, and publishes technical standards
to manage information in a changing and ever-more digital environment.

NISO Metasearch Committee
Auto-Graphics is a founding member of the planning committee for
the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) Metasearch
committee. The NISO Metasearch Initiative committee identifies and/or
develops standards and best practices to improve interoperability

VIEWS
Launched in 2004, Auto-Graphics is a founding member of the Vendor
Initiative for Enabling Web Services (VIEWS). VIEWS is an initiative
by vendors and library service organizations aimed at the enabling
of Web Services between disparate applications used in libraries.
