Product Manager, Acquisitions
Located in Pomona, CA - Auto-Graphics provides web-based library automation solutions to more than 5,000 libraries in North America. The company is seeking an experienced individual to join its product management group. The position is an Acquisitions Product Manager whose responsibilities will be to take the lead in the development and implementation of the next version of Auto-Graphics’ acquisitions module designed for the AGent VERSO integrated library system (ILS).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for coordinating functional requirements and workflows via written specifications which will then be turned into technical specifications executed by the programming department.
- Will work both internally with the development, sales and management team, and externally with customers and prospects to determine and develop system requirements.
- Will be involved in the day-to-day interaction with the development team during the implementation phase to ensure that the system is being developed according to the specifications set forth.

Qualifications:

- MLS and three to five years experience in the mid to large public library’s technical services department with experience in acquisitions and cataloging
- Must be familiar with acquisitions workflow and ordering processes and maintain a clear understanding of how ILS acquisitions modules interact with cataloging and book vendor systems such Baker & Taylor, Blackwell and Ingram.
- Will preferably have experience in a library with multiple branches and a central acquisitions department.
- Will preferably have demonstrated experience with and an understanding of one or two current ILS systems.
