The library upgraded from an Athena system. The library now has a fully implemented AGent VERSO’s web-based OPAC, splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to its resources.

The students of Eastford benefit significantly from the AGent Search™ application used by both libraries in Eastford and iCONN, Connecticut’s research engine.
Benton Harbor Public Library in Benton Harbor, MI, contracts with Auto-Graphics to implement AGent VERSO™ as their integrated library system (ILS) opting for the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery method. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features, representing its first automation system. The library’s bibliographic database contains approximately 118,000 titles. With AGent VERSO the library is able to offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to its resources.
Winn Parish Library in Winnfield, LA, contracts with Auto-Graphics for locally-hosted license implementation of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete integrated library system (ILS) replacement for its legacy Winnebago (now Follett) Spectrum system. Winn Parish is located in west central Louisiana and is an excellent parish-supported five branch library system that actively serves the approximately 16,000 residents. Volumes in the library total almost 76,000, with approximately 395 new additions per month.
This AGent VERSO service implementation involved a server hosted locally within the Winn Parish Library headquarters; the migration and authority control of approximately 62,500 bibliographic records; item and patron information from the legacy system. The library has fully implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO. Content enrichment including Cover Images, other notes, summaries and data are also included in the AGent VERSO implementation at the Winn Parish Library.

Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston, LA, contracts with Auto-Graphics for a Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete integrated library system (ILS) replacement for its legacy SIRSI system. The Lincoln Parish Library is a large parish-supported, single branch library system that actively serves the approximately 43,000 residents of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Lincoln Parish is located in north central Louisiana and consists of 472 square miles. It is home to the Louisiana Tech University and Grambling State University.
The library is located in Ruston, with a head librarian and a staff of approximately 25. The facilities offer reading and reference materials for all ages. This AGent VERSO implementation involved the migration and authority control of approximately 100,000 bibliographic records; item and patron information from the legacy system to the new web-based AGent VERSO ILS.
Custom programming facilitated the conversion and migration of patron information from SIRSI to AGent VERSO. The library has fully implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO. Otero Junior College in La Junta, CO,
contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation
of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete integrated
library system (ILS) replacement for its legacy CARL library system.
The Wheeler Library at Otero Junior College actively serves approximately
1,600 students, and approximately 160 faculty and staff. Otero
Junior College shares its AGent VERSO implementation with the
nearby Koshare Indian Museum Research Library which houses thousands
of books about tribes of North America, including biographies
and out-of-print books. This AGent VERSO service implementation
involved the migration and authority control of approximately
36,100 bibliographic records; item and patron information from
the legacy system to the new web-based AGent VERSO ILS. Authenticated
access to a variety of full text databases available to the Otero
Junior College community is also included and supported by the
AGent VERSO implementation at Otero Junior College. The library
has fully implemented the web-based OPAC, circulation modules,
cataloging, serials and administrative features available in AGent
VERSO. Implementation of AGent VERSO by Otero Junior College and
the Koshare Indian Museum provides the opportunity for patrons
and staff of these libraries to enjoy 24/7 remote and in-library,
single search portal access to a rich combination of bibliographic
and full text resources.
Sodus Township Public Library in Sodus, MI Implements
AGent VERSO™.
This AGent VERSO implementation introduced the first automation
system for Sodus Township; the site contains approximately 11,000
bibliographic records and 1,000 patron records. The library has
fully implemented AGent VERSO’s web-based OPAC, circulation
modules, cataloging and administrative features. Implementation
of AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the patrons of
the township library to enjoy 24/7 remote access to the holdings
of their library.
Delton District Library in Delton, MI Implements
AGent VERSO™.
Delton District Library joined the Delton Kellogg Schools AGent
VERSO site to become the automation system for the Delton Community
Libraries. The combined database has approximately 68,000 bibliographic
records which supports 6,000 registered students and public library
patrons. The schools and the public library have fully implemented
AGent VERSO’s web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging
and administrative features, including the Splash Page.
Two More Schools Join the Dowagiac Union Schools
AGent VERSO™.
The collections of the Justus Gage Elementary School and the Patrick
Hamilton Middle School in Dowagiac, MI are now automated using
AGent VERSO. They join the Union High School and the Dowagiac
Middle School in the AGent VERSO site that now has 2500 registered
students and teachers who have access to approximately 22,000
bibliographic records. The Union Schools have fully implemented
VERSO’s web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging
and administrative features.
Brooklyn Town Library Association in Brooklyn, contracts with Auto-Graphics to implement AGent VERSO™ as their ILS opting for the SaaS delivery method. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's web-based OPAC, splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features. The library’s bibliographic database started with the merger and deduplication of it’s holdings from reQuest, Connecticut’s statewide AGent system, and the library’s Athena system. Auto-Graphics produced smart item barcodes for the holdings from reQuest which were loaded into the library’s AGent VERSO system. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to its resources.
Verona Public Library in Verona, NJ selects
AGent VERSO™.
The Verona Public Library goes live with Auto-Graphic's AGent
VERSO system maintained by the library on its own equipment with
its own local area and telecommunications networks. Approximately,
11,000 patrons, 62,000 items, and 48,000 bibliographic records
were loaded into their AGent VERSO system from their Galaxy system.
The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's web-based OPAC,
splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative
features. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate
in JerseyCat, New Jersey's statewide bibliographic database and
interlibrary loan AGent system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite
access to its resources.
Eastford Public Library, Eastford, CT contracts
with Auto-Graphics to implement AGent VERSO™ as their ILS
opting for the SaaS delivery method. The library is building its
bibliographic, holdings, and patron databases on AGent VERSO.
It’s bibliographic and holdings databases started with the
library’s holdings on reQuest, Connecticut’s statewide
AGent system. Auto-Graphics produced smart, item barcodes for
these holdings which were loaded into the library’s AGent
VERSO system. The library is barcoding and converting the remainder
of its collection using its AGent VERSO system, AGCat Client,
and Z39.50 cataloging resources. Once complete, the library will
have fully implemented AGent VERSO's Web-based OPAC, splash page,
circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features.
With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in
reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary

Woodstock Public Libraries, Woodstock, Ct selects
AGent VERSO™.
The three public libraries of Woodstock Connecticut, May Memorial,
North, and West, contract with Auto-Graphics for AGent VERSO SaaS.
The libraries are building their shared bibliographic system,
holdings and patron databases from scratch using their AGent VERSO
system, AGCat Client, and Z39.50 cataloging resources. Once complete,
the libraries will have fully implemented AGent VERSO's Web-based
OPAC, splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative

Hesston College in Hesston, KS, contracts
with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent
VERSO™ services to provide a complete ILS replacement for
its legacy Winnebago (now Follett) Spectrum system. Hesston College
is accredited as a two-year college by the North Central Association
of Colleges and Schools and offers more than 50 academic majors
and five pre-professional programs. The Mary Miller Library at
Hesston College actively serves nearly 500 students, and approximately
150 faculty and staff. This VERSO service implementation involved
the migration and authority control of approximately 27,700 bibliographic
records; item and patron information from the legacy system to
the new web-based VERSO ILS. Authenticated access to a variety
of full text databases available to Kansas libraries through the
Kansas Blue Skyways initiative sponsored by the Kansas State Library
is also included and supported by the VERSO implementation at
Hesston College. The library has fully implemented Web-based OPAC,
circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available
in AGent VERSO. Implementation of AGent VERSO by Hesston College
provides the opportunity for the library to more seamlessly participate
in and benefit from state-wide Kansas resource sharing initiatives;
and for patrons to enjoy 24/7 remote and in-library, single search
portal access to a rich combination of bibliographic and full
text resources.
Chambers County Library System in Anahuac, Texas, chose Auto-Graphics for a Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™. Chambers County Library has implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features. Library patrons enjoy enhanced content like book jacket art and first chapter excerpts and may now contribute reader reviews, directly reserve titles, and even request items from other branches for pickup at their local branch, all without staff intervention. Chambers County Library System’s main branch is located near beautiful Lake Anahuac in Anahuac, Texas, with two satellite branches in Mont Belvieu and Winnie. Five Additional Southwest Kansas libraries go live with AGent VERSO™. Bucklin Public Library, Cimarron City Library, Grant County Library in Ulysses, Plains Community Library, and Spearville Township Library are the most recent member libraries of Southwest Kansas Library System to fully implement AGent VERSO™.
Five Southwest Kansas libraries go live with AGent VERSO™. Kearny County Library in Lakin, Lane County Library at Dighton and Healy, Montezuma Township Library, Morton County Library in Elkhart, and Rolla Library, 5 member libraries of the 32 member libraries of Southwest Kansas Library System, have fully implemented AGent VERSO™. The SWiftnet consortium is using Auto-Graphics’ ASP service with full system support, maintenance, and updates including AGent VERSO’s web-based OPAC, circulation, cataloging and administrative modules. The libraries have access to the KanFind databases using the AGent VERSO™ search portal. SWiftnet libraries are sharing a union catalog with library customizable interfaces and parameters.
Ashland Public Schools in Ashland, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for a Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ to provide a complete ILS replacement for its legacy library system. The Ashland Public Schools Libraries actively serves the staff and students of the Ashland Grade School and High School. Library staff will utilize Auto-Graphics quality bibliographic database resources and employ VERSO’s easy-to-use copy cataloging capabilities to manually convert the currently un-automated Grade School library collection. Authenticated access to a variety of full text databases available to Kansas libraries through the Kansas Blue Skyways initiative sponsored by the Kansas State Library & Kan-ed is also included and supported by the VERSO implementation at the Ashland Public Schools.
Minneola School in Minneola, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for a Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete ILS replacement for its legacy library system. Minneola students and staff will enjoy 24-7 remote and in-library, single search portal access to this rich combination of bibliographic and full text resources. The library has fully implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO. Implementation of AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the students and staff of this school library to more seamlessly participate in and benefit from state-wide Kansas resource sharing initiatives.
New Buffalo Township Public Library in New Buffalo, MI implements AGent VERSO™. This implementation involved the migration of approximately 46,000 bibliographic records and 6,000 patron records from their Sagebrush legacy system to the web-based AGent VERSO integrated library system. The library has fully implemented the web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features. AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the patrons to enjoy 24/7 remote access to the holdings of their library.
Aldrich Free Public Library in Moosup, CT serving the communities of Moosup, Plainfield, Wauregan, and Central Village, contracts with Auto-Graphics for AGent VERSO™ opting for the SaaS delivery method. The library migrated approximately 12,500 bibliographic records, 13,200 item records, and 2,800 patrons to AGent VERSO. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's Web-based OPAC, splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to its resources.
Grant Parish Library in Colfax, LA, contracts with Auto-Graphics for a Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ to provide a complete ILS replacement for its legacy Winnebago (now Follett) Spectrum system. The library system currently serves a population of approximately 17,500 residents and involved the migration and authority control of approximately 48,800 bibliographic records including both item and patron information. The project also included special processing to restore the 14-digit integrity of patron and item numbers exported from the legacy system. The library system has fully implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO, providing the opportunity for library branches to more seamlessly share their resources; and for patrons to enjoy 24/7 access to their library resources.
Scotland Public Library in Scotland, CT, contracts with Auto-Graphics to implement AGent VERSO™ as their ILS opting for the SaaS delivery method. The library migrated approximately 8,200 bibliographic records, 8,700 item records, and 700 patrons to Verso. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's Web-based OPAC, splash page, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to the its resources. With AGent VERSO’s Z39.50 searching capabilitiy and AGCat Cataloging utility, the staff will be able to complete the conversion of the collection.
Preston Public Library in Preston, CT, contracts with Auto-Graphics to implement AGent VERSO™ as their ILS opting for the SaaS delivery method. The library migrated approximately 27,000 bibliographic records, 29,000 item records, and 2,800 patrons to Verso. Pomfret Public Library, Pomfret, CT, located in Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner”, contracts with Auto-Graphics for AGent VERSO™ ASP services. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO’s web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging, and administrative features after having migrated approximately 1,300 patrons, and 15,000 bibliographic and item records from its previous system. With AGent VERSO the library is able to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system, and offer 24/7 remote and onsite access to the its resources.
Nine Southwest Kansas libraries go live with AGent VERSO™. These libraries represent the first 9 of 32 scheduled public libraries belonging to Southwest Kansas Library System or SWiftnet consortium to have fully implemented AGent VERSO as an ASP service with full system support, maintenance, and updates including the web-based OPAC, circulation, cataloging and administrative modules. The libraries now have access to the KanFind databases through AGent VERSO. SWiftnet libraries are sharing a union catalog with a customizable interface at the individual library level. The libraries in this first phase are Greeley County Library, Hamilton County Library, Kinsley Public Library, Meade Public Library, Ness City Public Library, Stanton County Public Library and Stevens County Library.
South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) in South Hutchinson, KS contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ to provide a replacement for its legacy Follett system. The South Central Kansas Library System is one of seven regional library systems in Kansas. Headquartered in South Hutchinson, SCKLS has 154 members representing 76 public libraries (plus 9 Wichita branch locations), 17 academic, 53 school districts with 215 individual schools as well as 8 special libraries in 12 counties.
Goddard Public Library in Goddard, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™. Goddard Public Library has implemented web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features. This library serves the residents of the City of Goddard and the surrounding area of Sedgwick County, Kansas. The library currently serves a population of approximately 2,200 registered patrons. Auto-Graphics selected and processed 13,352 Goddard Public Library titles representing 13,461 items from the Kansas Union Database hosted by Auto-Graphics.
Inman Public Library in Inman, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™. Patrons and staff alike will now enjoy 24-7 remote and in-library, single search portal access to this rich combination of bibliographic and full text resources. The library serves the residents of the City of Inman and the surrounding area of McPherson County, Kansas. The library currently serves approximately 2,200 registered library card holders. Auto-Graphics selected and processed 10,946 Inman Public Library titles representing 10,957 items from the Kansas Union Database hosted by Auto-Graphics.
Lillian Tear Public Library in Sedgwick, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™. Lillian Tear Public library is a member of the South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) and full participants in the AGent™ software-based Kansas Statewide Resource Sharing initiative (KICNET). This library serves the residents of the City of Sedgwick and the surrounding area of Harvey County, Kansas and currently serves approximately 1,278 registered library card holders.
Pretty Prairie Public Library in Pretty Prairie, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™. Authenticated access to a variety of full text databases available to Kansas libraries through the Kansas Blue Skyways initiative sponsored by the Kansas State Library is included and supported by the implementation. This library serves the residents of Pretty Prairie and the surrounding rural area of Reno County, Kansas and currently serves approximately 500 registered library card holders.
Mississippi Libraries Go Live with AGent VERSO™ The last remaining non-automated library systems in Mississippi have fully implemented the AGent VERSO™ ILS system to provide a robust automation solution for some of the state's rural library systems. These libraries selected Auto-Graphics' ASP hosted license service with full system support, maintenance, and updates, allowing them to focus on serving patrons without the cost or complexity of addressing technical support issues. The libraries now use VERSO's Web-based OPAC, circulation, cataloging and administrative modules. The complete, integrated solution includes use of the AGent MARCit™ databases - consisting of over 20 million MARC records, from the Library of Congress and many other cataloging resources.
The libraries are:
- Carroll County Public Library System, with branches in Carrollton and Vaiden, serves a population of over 10,000;
- Kemper Newton Regional Library System, with headquarters in Union and branches in Decatur, DeKalb, Newton and Scooba, serves a population of over 32,000;
- Tallahatchie County Library has two branches, the central branch in Charleston and a branch in Tutwiler, serving a population of over 14,000;
- Washington County Library System has six branches located in Greenville, Arcola, Avon, Glen Allan, Leland and Hollandale, plus a bookmobile service. It serves a population of 63,000.
Hartford Public Library in Hartford, MI Implements AGent VERSO™ This AGent VERSO™ implementation involved the migration of approximately 33,000 bibliographic records and 2,500 patron records from their Follett legacy system to the new Web-based AGent VERSO ILS. The library has fully implemented AGent VERSO's Web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features. Implementation of AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the patrons of this small city library to enjoy 24/7 remote access to the holdings of their library.
The Woodhall School in Bethlehem, CT, which has contracted with Auto-Graphics for AGent VERSO™ ASP services for the automation of their library, has begun building its bibliographic database using AGent VERSO's cataloging module and the Auto-Graphics MARCit databases. The library is looking forward to fully implementing AGent VERSO for its students and faculty. The library plans to make extensive use of AGent VERSO's web-based OPAC, splash page, and ability to maintain the library's search resources. Implementation of VERSO will provide The Woodhall School with the ability to fully participate in Connecticut's statewide resource sharing initiatives.
Goodland Public Library in Goodland, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete ILS replacement for its legacy Winnebago (now Follett) Spectrum system. Goodland Public Library serves the residents of the City of Goodland and the surrounding areas of Sherman County, Kansas. The library currently serves approximately 3,500 registered library card holders. This VERSO service implementation involved the migration and authority control of approximately 46,526 bibliographic records; item and patron information from the legacy system to the new web-based VERSO ILS. The library has fully implemented Web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO. Implementation of AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the patrons of this city library to more seamlessly participate in and benefit from state-wide Kansas resource sharing initiatives.
Jay Johnson Public Library in Quinter, KS, contracts with Auto-Graphics for Hosted License implementation of AGent VERSO™ services to provide a complete ILS replacement for its legacy Follett system. Jay Johnson Public Library serves the residents of the City of Quinter and the surrounding areas of Gove County, Kansas. The library currently serves approximately 1,500 registered library card holders. This AGent VERSO service implementation involved the migration and authority control of approximately 15,284 bibliographic records; and item information from the legacy system to the new Web-based AGent VERSO ILS. The library has fully implemented Web-based OPAC, circulation modules, cataloging and administrative features available in AGent VERSO. Implementation of AGent VERSO also provides the opportunity for the patrons of this small city library to more seamlessly participate in and benefit from state-wide Kansas resource sharing initiatives.
Willington Public Library, Willington CT, moves into its new library building, and goes live the AGent VERSO™ ASP services to provide a complete, web-accessible, integrated library system replacement for its legacy Athena system. For the first time, the residents of Willington will enjoy 24/7 remote access to the holdings of their town library. The staff will no longer be burdened with the maintenance their own standalone system. With AGent VERSO the library plans to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system. The library had been in 3,000 sq. ft. basement quarters of the public middle school since 1923 before moving into its new 18,740 sq. ft library on its own property.
Chester Public Library, Chester CT, contracts with Auto-Graphics for AGent VERSO™ ASP services for a complete, web-accessible integrated library system. The library previously did not have an automation system in place. The library imported its bibliographic and holdings data from its holdings in the reQuest, the Connecticut statewide database. Smart, item barcodes were created for the library by Auto-Graphics from the reQuest holdings. Patron information is being loaded in batches from manual records. The library plans to go live with AGent VERSO in March 2007. With AGent VERSO the library plans to actively participate in reQuest, Connecticut's statewide bibliographic database and interlibrary loan system.
