Auto-Graphics’ Content Management System (CMS) manages work flow and collaboration to facilitate the organization, control and publication of a large body of documents and other content, such as images and multimedia resources. The system integrates and delivers critical business information for use by large and geographically diverse groups and makes multiple information types - such as images, documents, e-mail, and e-records – available both on the internal network and over the web.
A-G CMS uses Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) as its basic data structure. While many regard XML as "the new data standard", Auto-Graphics is a pioneer in this area, with a groundbreaking 12 years of experience with Standard Generalized Mark-up Language (SGML), the foundation of HTML, and now XML. The advantage of XML over other more common approaches is that it allows you to easily catalog anything with it - not just documents.
