Auto-Graphics' Government Documents Catalog Services (GDCS) provides you access to the complete Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications, fully enhanced and corrected. GDCS regularly compiles all GPO records and corrections since June 1976—400,000 fully cross-referenced titles. GDCS is a powerful resource sharing tool that includes item selection profiles of all U.S. Depository Libraries.
Search GDCS
Choose GDCS to view the database via Internet World Wide Web. The
Government Documents search uses the same powerful Patron Access
Catalog (WebPAC) software that over one million people per day use
to access library information. Easy to learn and intuitively structured
for even the novice, searching options include Boolean operators,
date, language and format qualifiers, wild cards and truncation
characters.
Record Extraction Service
Auto-Graphics can extract GPO records for loading from tape or through
ftp to your online system, so your documents will be fully represented
in your local catalog. After you create an item/SuDocs selection
profile with a special, easy-to-use Auto-Graphics program, we can
provide records both retrospectively and on a monthly ongoing basis.
We can accommodate multiple holding libraries and offer such additional services as barcode number generation, record printouts, and initial and ongoing authority records. Shipping list management services are provided.
