The AGent™ platform is the most modern, comprehensive and effective resource management platform available today, allowing libraries to manage, share and search their resources. The AGent integrated product suite – currently used by more than 6,000 libraries in North America – is comprised of AGent Iluminar™ a next generation patron user interface; AGent VERSO™ a complete integrated library system; AGent Resource Sharing™ a robust interlibrary loan and consortial borrowing solution; and AGent Search™ a powerful federated search application. AGent products are standards-compliant, built with an open systems architecture and are available via the Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted delivery model.
Each of the AGent products is designed to help our library partners become more efficient and patron-centric through a number of ways: streamlined administration, improved workflow, patron-self service, greater ROI from acquisitions and licensed content, real-time data access, flexible delivery options and customer-focused technical support.

The AGent application runs on a standard browser for both the staff and the end-user applications, with no “client” to download. This flexible delivery method reduces time and cost for the library and offers both staff and end-users alike the flexibility to access all resources and administrative functions from any computer with a connection to the internet.
The AGent platform offers its software in a variety of flexible delivery options:

- Very cost-effective option without an upfront capital expense of a license or hardware
- Products can evolve and scale based on changing needs over time
- Security, redundancy, backup, technical server support
- Frees up valuable IT or technical staff to support additional projects.
- Local Installation – The local installation option allows libraries to run any of the AGent products locally on their own servers.
